RIO Front Door pilot: privacy notice

Details

The Front Door is an experimental, business-led pilot by the Regulatory Innovation Office to collect and address regulatory challenges. It aims to make it easier for businesses to highlight barriers, helping RIO target reforms where they are most needed and to support innovation and growth.

We ran a business insights exercise to help us understand the regulatory barriers that are holding back innovation across all science and technology sectors. The results will inform the future design of the RIO Front Door service.

This phase closed on 19 June 2026.

Phase one was aimed at businesses and investors operating in defence technologies and robotics and closed on 20 March 2026.
