The Home Office wrote to Dr Sally Robinson, Chair of the Animals in Science Committee, on 6 March 2026 to provide an update on the government’s proposed approach to the regulation of decapods used in scientific procedures, agreed by the Minister.

Dr Sally Robinson has acknowledged receipt of this letter.
