Holders of Public Office have a duty to declare any private interests relating to their public duties and to take steps to resolve any conflicts arising in a way that protects the public interest. CoRWM Members are required to declare any personal or business interest which may, or may be perceived to be (by a reasonable member of the public) influencing, or having influenced their judgement in committee business and these are recorded in the Register of Interests.
The way in which conflicts of interest are managed is published in a separate document.
