Details
The Horizon Family Members Redress Scheme is open to the family members of postmasters affected by the Post Office Horizon scandal. To apply you must be an affected postmaster’s:
- spouse (or ex-spouse)
- partner (or ex-partner)
- sibling
- parent
- child (including stepchildren and adopted children)
Before you start
This online form is to register as an affected family member. It will ask questions which will be used to check if you are eligible to apply for redress.

Register for the scheme
If you require a paper version of the form, contact familymembersredress@businessandtrade.gov.uk.
After you register
Once claims processing begins later this year, a caseworker will contact you to request further information and supporting documents to:
- verify your identity
- confirm your eligibility
- assess your claim, where applicable
If you are eligible, you will need to complete a separate application form for redress.
Cases will start being reviewed in autumn 2026.
