Details

This prison service instruction (PSI) provides guidance for prisons on creating a regime management plan (RMP). These plans describe the full range of activities and services to be delivered within a prison and are used to ensure the prison is run in a safe and consistent way with resources managed effectively.

The sections and annex include detailed guidance and templates on the main elements of the RMP:

• section A: how the planned activities and services will be delivered, including required resources
• section B: how prisoners will be supervised while unlocked
• section C: operational procedures during activities and services
• annex: regime management planning guidance

This is a current PSI. It came into effect on 15 September 2017.
