The Foresight project, ‘Tackling obesities: future choices’, explored how we can respond to rising levels of obesity in the UK over the next 40 years.

This review describes some of the main activities carried out by government, and other stakeholders concerned with managing obesity, which have been informed by the report. Some of these actions reflect commitments set out in the project’s action plan. Others are initiatives which have been developed separately.
