How is the Environment Agency working with the community?
The Environment Agency has been working with the community since the start of the Abingdon flood schemes project and has met regularly with St Helen’s Mill residents to keep them updated on the scheme.
The Environment Agency has also held a number of community events in Abingdon. The most recent was an event for the local community at the Abingdon Community Free Space on 1 April 2017. The Abingdon flood schemes, Oxford Flood Alleviation Scheme and the Supporting Communities Remaining at Risk project teams were all on hand to answer questions. The team will hold further events when there is an update to share on the scheme.
