We were asked about redeployment pools and voluntary departures.
Wales Office has one member of staff who will need to be re-deployed by September. Five staff members have accepted voluntary early departure offers from their employers - either the Ministry of Justice or the Welsh Assembly Government. (The Wales Office is not an employer in its own right). Of these two are already over retirement age. No one has been subjected to compulsory redundancy.
Wales Office does not have a redeployment pool of its own but again staff would return to the redeployment pool of one of the two organisations cited in the paragraph above.
