Please could you tell me: How many people have been sent home from driving test centres in Scotland between January 1, 2012 to date? In your response, please provide detail of why the driver was told he/she could not sit their test and also the test centre involved.
Response
The table attached at Annex A shows the number of car practical driving tests that have been terminated at driving test centres (DTCs) in Scotland between 1 January 2012 and 31 August 2013. Please note this information has not been supplied up to the date of your request (18 September) as it takes up to six weeks to capture data from test report forms. This information is broken down by test centre and the reason for termination.
Please note that we do not record information about the point at which the test was terminated or if the test commenced.
