Effective QA ensures that decisions are made with an appropriate understanding of evidence and risks, and helps analysts ensure the integrity of the analytical output. DECC uses this guidance to ensure that the model in question has been proportionately quality assured, with supporting documentation and evidence to demonstrate that.
