Pupil & Family Services (P&FS) is a department of Service Children’s Education that is dedicated to providing support, guidance, and advice to pupils, parents, and school staff. The department employs Educational Psychologists, Educational Social Workers, Inclusion Support Teachers, and staff that specialise in Special Educational Needs.
P&FS staff work to support children and young people in many different ways, sometimes this work is focused on an individual pupil if there are challenges surrounding progress and learning or the pupils social world such as relating to others in the playground.
Our involvement can also be with pupils and their families as the home environment can affect how a pupils perform at school.
Different pupils have different talents but all have great potential, sometimes they just need support that has been individually designed for them.
P&FS will only work with a pupil having received written parental consent through a Request for Involvement form. Our involvement is always time limited and continues as long as it is useful.
