1. King James I Academy

King James I Academy, Bishop Auckland held a tree planting event on 31 January 2014. Representatives of the school, Education Funding Agency (EFA) and Sir Robert McAlpine joined the pupils as they planted trees to mark progress being made on this school development.

2. Hill Top Specialist Arts College

Hill Top Specialist Arts College held its turf cutting ceremony on 4 December 2013. Staff and pupils at the Gateshead school were joined by representatives of EFA and the selected contractor, Sir Robert McAlpine. The Mayor of Gateshead also attended the event.
