Consultation and community involvement are very important elements of the planning process in order to bring forward a successful scheme.
The information on this web page is a replication of what was displayed at the public exhibition at Torpoint Town Hall on Wednesday 23 October 2013, and what has subsequently been displayed in local facilities following the exhibition.
- initial public consultation was undertaken in October 2013 (exhibition displays attached).
- following the initial public consultation, the project proposals were amended to take on board the feedback received from local residents and new site investigation data.
- a project update was presented to Torpoint Town Council and Antony Parish Council in October 2014 (presentation attached).
- planning and Marine Licence applications were submitted to Cornwall Council and the Marine Management Organisation in May 2015
Your views and feedback on the development proposals at the Thanckes Oil Fuel Depot are valued and will be considered as part of the consents submission. There will be further opportunity to comment on the proposed development as part of the statutory consultation process once the consents applications are submitted to Cornwall Council and the Marine Management Organisation in November 2013.
