Details

1. Summary of FOI request for the following information

This is the response to an FOI request for the number of properties in the borough of Camden that have been re-banded (changed the Council Tax band) in the period 1991 to 2017.

2. Response

I can confirm the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) doesn’t hold all the information you have requested. The VOA doesn’t hold information for 1991 to 1992, as the Council Tax was introduced in 1993 by the Local Government Finance Act 1992, replacing the Community Charge (popularly known as the ‘poll tax’).

I can confirm that the VOA holds information in respect of the years 1993 to 2017.
