Following the United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union, there have been changes to the overarching regulatory framework for product safety and metrology: The Product Safety and Metrology etc. (Amendment) Regulations 2024, which came into force on 1 October 2024 and The Product Regulation and Metrology Act 2025, which came into force on 21 July 2025.
