Details

This guidance sets out the following for products which fall in scope of the UK Conformity Assessed (UKCA) or Conformité Européenne (CE) regimes:

  • the conformity markings needed to place products on the Great Britain (GB: England, Scotland and Wales) and Northern Ireland (NI) markets by sector
  • the equivalent UK and EU legislation by sector
  • the regulatory framework for products in different sectors

There are a range of sectors which have rules and standards outside of the UKCA and CE regimes. You can access  product safety sector guidance from the Office of Product Safety and Standards at product safety for businesses: A to Z of industry guidance.
