This report presents the findings of a high-level, internal technical desktop study undertaken by Great British Energy - Nuclear (GBE-N) in its advisory capacity to the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ). The purpose of the study is to identify land areas in Scotland that may be technically suitable for the future deployment of nuclear technologies. The study concludes that, from a technical perspective, Scotland has land areas with high potential for new nuclear development.
