This report includes new analysis of post-16 maths participation in the 2014 to 2015 academic year.



This release shows whether or not people are studying maths in post-16 education and if they are, what level they are studying.

It shows post-16 maths participation in England by:

  • prior attainment
  • institution type
  • highest study aim (the highest level the student is studying)
  • pupil characteristics
  • level 3 maths participation by local authority
