This circular explains planning fees in England and the method of calculating them.

It shows how the Town and Country Planning (Fees for Applications) Regulations 1989 are being amended, and offers up-to-date advice to replace that given in Circular 31/92: The Town and Country Planning (Fees for Applications and Deemed Applications) (Amendment) (No 2) Regulations 1992.
