The planning context reports provide an overview of HS2 works that will take place within the local authority, including a programme for making requests for approval under Schedule 17.
The High Speed Rail (London to West Midlands) Act 2017 grants (deemed) planning permission for the work it authorises and establishes a planning regime in Schedule 17 under which certain matters and details are reserved for planning authority approval. The purpose of Schedule 17 is to establish a streamlined approvals process.
