This study is a review of overseas approaches to setting River Flow Objectives. It has been compiled to enable the Environment Agency to learn from international operational experience in order to develop its policy on setting River Flow Objectives (RFOs), and ultimately, statutory Minimum Acceptable Flows (MAFs).
