What’s happening
Works to replace worn sleepers on the footbridge over the sluice and lock will be taking place.
This will include installing panels over the full area of the bridge above the navigation channel which may result in short delays to boaters wanting to travel underneath. The construction team will work around the passage of boats where possible to minimise disruption.
Please take care when navigating in this area and take heed of any safety notices or instructions given by the contractors on site.
