The annual report includes highlights from the reporting period and analyses OGA’s progress across the seven priority areas highlighted in its Corporate Plan 2016-21

In the reporting year 2015-16, OGA has embraced its role to encourage and facilitate greater collaboration across the United Kingdom Continental Shelf and has made a significant number of successful interventions to facilitate new discoveries, approve new fields and extensions of existing fields, unblock commercial issues, create efficiencies and improve plant operations.

Industry has delivered substantial improvements to the operating costs and production efficiency of the sector, and it is vital this progress continues. Collaboration and continued engagement, including companies with their employees, remains essential to the future prospects of the UKCS.
