Details
An independent review of Oak National Academy (Oak) was initiated to comply with the previous government’s guidance on the conduct of public body reviews. The review was carried out between December 2024 and March 2025.
The Department for Education has also carried out an updated market impact assessment of Oak, following a commitment made when Oak was established as a non-departmental public body in 2022.
Both reports will inform the government’s decisions about the future remit and funding of Oak.
