You can find this information on our website at http://www.dft.gov.uk/foi/dsa-ia0033212/. This information is therefore exempt under section 21 (information accessible by other means) of the FoIA. A copy of this exemption in full is attached at Annex A.

6. Request 4

How many drivers who hold their HGV C+E have completed 35 hours of periodic driver cpc training.

7. Response

The record and evidencing system used to capture details of Driver CPC training does not capture any details of the candidate’s driver entitlement; this includes whether the driver has a lorry or bus or trailer entitilement. We therefore do not hold the requested information.

Whilst we have been unable to supply you with the information you have requested, we do publish statistics about Driver CPC training and these can be found at http://www.dft.gov.uk/publications/dsa-driver-cpc-statistics/. As mentioned above, these statistics are for all drivers (both Lorry and Bus) who undertake the training.
