Number of staff employed by the department who are signed up to support a charity from pay, via a Payroll Giving/Give As You Earn scheme (pre-or post tax).
2. Release
At 31 December 2012 the department employed 3890 staff, 490 of whom support charities through a Payroll Giving/Give As You Earn scheme.
