1. Contractor announced

Education Funding Agency has appointed Kier Education as the contractor for the £44 million contract for the Nottinghamshire capital batch to deliver 7 new school buildings in Newark, Serlby and Mansfield. More than 4,400 pupils in 4 primary, 2 secondary and 1 all-through schools will be taught in new buildings.

The schools included in this batch are:

  • Newark Academy, Newark – secondary academy
  • Serlby Academy, Serlby – all through primary and secondary academy
  • Annie Holgate Primary, Hucknall
  • Abbey Primary, Mansfield
  • Flying High Academy at Ladybrook, Mansfield – primary academy
  • Wainwright Primary Academy, Mansfield
