This is the first annual report of the Northern Ireland Law Commission which was established in April 2007. It is an independent body whose aim is to consider the law of Northern Ireland with a view to making proposals to and advising government on the law’s systematic reform.

This paper was laid before Parliament in response to a legislative requirement or as a Return to an Address and was ordered to be printed by the House of Commons.
