Details

NOMS Welsh Language Scheme was published on 26 September 2013 and sets out NOMS’ commitment to implementing a strategy that will allow us to comply with the Welsh Language Act 1993. The Welsh Language Measure (2011) is the driving force behind the new NOMS Scheme.

This Welsh Language Scheme has been adopted by NOMS and the bodies operating within it, and was approved by the Welsh Language Commissioner on 22 May 2013. It is intended to inform the Welsh Language Schemes of the Wales Probation Trust, and other relevant NOMS providers.
