Noise Amelioration Scheme (Military): RAF Church Fenton
A NAS(M) assessment at RAF Church Fenton as part of the MOD’s noise mitigation measures programme to reduce the effect of noise disturbance from military activities.
The survey details the results of a review completed by the RAF Noise and Vibration Division (NVD) between 18 to 20 March 2013 of flying operations at RAF Church Fenton prior to the announcement of the closure. This report compares the results of the previous surveys carried out in 1989 and 2001 under the now closed NIGS and provides recommendations regarding the Noise Amelioration Scheme (Military) (NAS(M)) contours.
As RAF Church Fenton is now closed, this report is published for historic purposes.
