Guidance is provided to unsecured creditors on their rights under special administration for NHS trusts and NHS foundation trusts (FTs).

It includes an overview of the special administration process and information on how the liabilities of NHS trusts and FTs will be treated in the event these organisations are put into special administration.

The  relates only to NHS trusts and to FTs in England. It is not an exhaustive statement of the relevant law.
