Today (5th July 2022), UK data minister Julia Lopez and the Republic of Korea Chairperson of the Personal Information Protection Commission (PIPC), Jong In Yoon, agreed the statement above, marking the successful conclusion of data adequacy talks, which will promote the trustworthy use and exchange of data between the two countries.
