The National College for Teaching and Leadership (the National College) is an executive agency within the Department for Education. Its purpose is to enable and support the development of a self-improving, school-led system.

This interim plan has been replaced by a revised business plan for October 2013 to March 2014, as the new agency is now fully operational.
