Assessment for waste treatment and disposal routes for LLW available through LLW Repository Ltd’s Waste Services Framework.

The carbon emissions impact has been identified for the following waste routes: * LLW disposals to the Low Level Waste Repository (LLWR) * UK metal treatment (surface decontamination) * Overseas metal treatment (surface decontamination and melting) * Incineration * VLLW / LA-LLW disposal at permitted UK landfill

Find out more about the National Waste Programme that was established to implement the UK’s strategy for the management of solid low level radioactive waste (LLW) from the nuclear industry. It is an industry-wide collaboration led by LLWR on behalf of the NDA.
