Joint Waste Management Plans (JWMP)

Each of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority's 4 radioactive waste-producing Site Licence Companies produce rolling 5-year Joint Waste Management Plans (JWMPs).

These plans are developed in collaboration with Low Level Waste Repository Ltd.

JWMPs identify projects and activities to support the embedding and implementation of the strategy and good practice within these organisations. JWMPs also provide a 5-year forecast of waste arisings.

Find out more about the National Waste Programme; established to implement the UK LLW Strategy. An industry-wide collaboration led by LLWR on behalf of the NDA.
