Details

DBT is running the National Survey of Businesses (NSB) to better understand the experiences, behaviours and attitudes of UK businesses.

Businesses have been selected as part of a representative sample of UK businesses. The findings will help inform government policy and improve the support available to businesses.

The survey replaces the National Survey of Registered Businesses following a public consultation on the change.

Contact NSB@businessandtrade.gov.uk if you require further information on the NSB.

Ipsos, an independent research organisation, has been commissioned to carry out the survey.

The survey is conducted 4 times a year and each wave of fieldwork runs for approximately 6 weeks. The survey will take around 20 minutes to complete.

Responses will be kept strictly confidential and used for research purposes only.

The survey is an Official Statistics product and follows the Code of Practice for Statistics.
