Details
This report reviews the National Minimum Wage including the state of the economy and the labour market and the operation of the NMW. It makes recommendations for the level of each of the different rates of the NMW which the Low Pay Commission (LPC) believes should apply from October 2014.
The Future Path of the National Minimum Wage is the response to a request from the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills asked the LPC to consider the conditions that would need to be in place to allow faster increases in the minimum wage taking account of the impact on employment levels and the labour market
