This report presents the findings from the third national behaviour survey for the 2023 to 2024 academic year. It covers:

  • school behaviour culture and policy
  • pupil and parent voice
  • school environment and experience
  • frequency and impact of misbehaviour

‘Parent, pupil and learner panel data: behavioural wave April 2024’ shows additional data from the 2023 to 2024 national behaviour survey. We collected the additional data through the parent, pupil and learner panel in April 2024.

The national behaviour survey report covers schools in England, including:

  • primary and secondary local-authority-maintained schools
  • primary and secondary academies and free schools
  • all-through local-authority-maintained schools
  • all-through academies
  • special schools

We collected the data from multiple respondent groups, including:

  • school leaders
  • teachers
  • pupils
  • parents and carers
