This special notice tells you about:

  • changes to the types of convictions that people involved in MOT testing must report to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) from 1 November 2019
  • the introduction of basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks for sole traders, partners in partnerships, directors in companies, and authorised examiner designated managers (AEDMs)
