MOT special notice 03-26: changes to MOT testing service sign in and fast track disciplinary process

Security cards will no longer work for signing in from 25 June 2026, and shortcomings for the fast track disciplinary process are being updated from 1 July 2026.

• you cannot sign in to the MOT testing service using a physical security card from 25 June 2026
• how to set up an authentication app if you do not already use one to sign in
• which shortcomings are included in the fast track disciplinary process from 1 July 2026
