The Department for Business and Trade has commissioned this report into public authorities’ experiences of subsidy control under the UK–EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement (which applied to subsidies given between 2021 and 4 January 2023). This analysis will serve as a baseline for DBT’s future monitoring and evaluation exercises on the Subsidy Control Act.
