Details
The latest Welsh language monitoring report sets out how the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) continued to comply with the provisions of our Scheme. Key achievements for the year have been:
- an increase in consultation documents available in Welsh
- the inclusion of a Welsh Impact Test in our consultation templates
- the opening of HMP Berwyn with a fully bilingual prison tour for the Press
- improved governance arrangements through a widened MOJ Welsh Language Co-ordinators Group
