If you are applying for clearance to set up an independent consultancy, you must seek prior clearance from the MOD for each commission under the terms of your consultancy that you wish to take up for two years from your last day in Crown Service

If you are applying for clearance to set up an independent consultancy, you must not make use of your contacts in any companies into whose provision of services into the UK MOD you exercised influence as part of your most recent role whilst serving, to seek to win work for your consultancy for twelve months from your last day in Crown Service.
