At this plenary CoRWM debated their response to the Geological Disposal Facility (GDF) Siting Process Consultation. The minutes contain a summary of the discussions, amongst other things on:

  • the way in which an expression of community support should be carried out
  • the order, timing and process of siting
  • the roles of the organisations involved
  • the planning process

Reports on recent meetings attended by members of the committee as part of CoRWM’s scrutiny role were also given in addition to a Q&A session with those observing the plenary.
