This document contains the following information: Armed forces’ pensions and compensation: Ministry of Defence response to the House of Commons Defence Committee’s first report of session 2003 to 2004.

This document sets out the Government’s reply to the Defence Committee’s report (HCP 96-I, session 2003 to 2004; ISBN 021501443X) on the Armed Forces (Pension and Compensation) Bill, which will enable the Government to implement new pension compensation schemes.

This Command Paper was laid before Parliament by a Government Minister by Command of Her Majesty. Command Papers are considered by the Government to be of interest to Parliament but are not required to be presented by legislation.
