The TSRB was asked on 30 July 1979 by the Prime Minister to bring up to date the second stage payment due to be paid to Members of Parliament and to Ministers and other paid office holders as part of the implementation of the 1979 salaries recommended in Report no. 12 (Ministers and MPs, and the Peers’ expenses allowance: Part I - GOV.UK).

This Report sets out the TSRB’s analysis and recommendations.
