Dear

Freedom of Information Act: Request for information on Groceries Code Adjudicator activities

Thank you for your email dated 7 July 2023 regarding maintenance of the Groceries Code Adjudicator’s (GCA) corporate estate. In your email you asked for the following information:

Please can you provide me with information concerning the maintenance of your corporate estate i.e. operational buildings, land and any other property (e.g. investment) and schools, if they are within your jurisdiction. Not any social housing/dwellings.

  1. What type of maintenance management model does your organisation use? E.g. Managed supply-chain, single hard-fm & soft-fm contractor, internal workforce, principal contractor etc.
  2. Can you provide a list of the approved contractors used?
  3. What are the total values of contracts granted?
  4. When do these contracts expire?
  5. What services are provided in each contract?
  6. What procurement method was used? E.g. Open ITT, Framework if so, which one?

Duty to confirm or deny whether the GCA holds the information

Under section 1(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, anyone making a request for information to the GCA, as a public authority, is entitled to be informed in writing whether it holds that information, and if so, to be supplied with it.

The GCA does not hold the information you have requested. The GCA has no corporate estate. The GCA’s office space is part of the 7th floor of The Cabot, 25 Cabot Square, London, E14 4QZ which it sublets from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA). The CMA arranges maintenance of the GCA’s office space.
