This case study examines 2 Local Sustainable Transport Fund (LSTF) programmes, within 3 national parks, seeking to reduce car-based visitor travel through sustainable transport schemes.

The study explored:

  • whether the programmes delivered their objectives
  • how economic impacts were achieved
  • which interventions were most effective

To achieve this, the study compares outcomes from 2014 to 2015 to outcomes from before the start of the intervention.
