What’s happening:
With current conditions we are experiencing low flows and river levels in places on the River Great Ouse. We are advising all river users to take extra care whilst under way at present on the navigation and be aware that there may be lower levels than usual in some locations. Please conserve water by sharing locks and navigate with extreme caution. Take notice of any signage displayed at lock sites. Shallower areas of the river and under water obstructions may become present whilst water levels are low. Craft with deep drafts may experience difficulties and there may be the risk of boats coming into contact with the river bed.
