SF3: Local government pension scheme funds - Bulk upload guidance

Step 1. Go to the “Collection requests” in Delta. Under “More”, select “Upload data” from the drop-down.

Step 2. Under “Upload”, select the file you want to upload (the completed Excel spreadsheet). Once you receive the message that “Upload complete”, select “Next”.

Step 3. Under “Validation”, wait for the validations of the file to complete. You may receive the message that “1 out of 1 document is invalid”. You can still continue, as you will be able to edit the return in Delta. Select “Next”.

Step 4. Under “Import”, when asked whether you would like to import (save) or skip record(s) with invalid data in this upload, respond “Import”. Then select “Start import”

Note: If you are reuploading a file once you have already saved or submitted data on Delta, you will be asked whether you want to keep or delete all previous records for this collection for this organisation. Respond “Delete” and “Import”. Then select “Start import”.

You will receive a message that “import of 1 document is complete” once the file has been uploaded. You can now close the tab.

Step 5. Go to the “Data store” in Delta. Under “More”, select “Edit form” from the drop-down. You can now provide comments for any fields that require comments. Once you have checked your return in Delta and provided comments where necessary, you can select “Submit” to submit your return.
